Stir in melted butter and egg, then gradually add flour and salt until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and roll into a 12x18 inch rectangle.

Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
